Epic Alleycat Fail on my part. I felt too guilty following the person who had the checkpoints pre-mapped, so in racestart confusion with no course plotted, I started following the only person I knew nearby which was Rob Evans. Uh, yeah, I managed to "follow" for about 5 minutes, and when his blinkie red taillight faded from view said, "oh balls" and pedaled over to my friend's art opening.
